Vernon Downs today announced they have donated $2,500 worth of toys to Toys For Tots.Every Monday in December, guests were able to donate points they accrued from their gaming activities.
Together, Vernon Downs and their guests were able to fill a truck full of toys which were presented days before Christmas to representatives of the Marines and the Syracuse Branch of Toys For Tots.
Vernon Downs Casino & Hotel is open year-round with video gaming machines, simulcast horse racing, a live harness racing season, restaurants, a sports bar and special entertainment events.
The property employs almost 300 people, offers an all-suites hotel and a recently expanded Events Center.
It is located near Routes 5 and 31 in Vernon, NY.
